Rust Paint

Application

1. Make sure that the substrate is well dry. In case of plaster, make sure that it has a curing time of at least 28 days, depending on the temperature.
2. Make sure that the substrate has been adequately prepared and that it is suitable for painting: dry plaster, have removed any granules from the plaster, in case of old walls make sure that there are no poor or powdery paints, and remove them if any; also remove peeling paints.
3. If necessary, apply 1 coat of Scik Pural Acril insulating material.
4. Apply one or two coats of Decor Fondo primer diluted 5 – 10%.
5. Allow it to dry perfectly (from 6 to 12 hours).

Cobra Verde Effect

• Apply Structura Hi-Tech Metallico Rame, ready to use, using a short-haired roller.
• Allow to dry for 6-12 hours.
• Apply Rust Paint, ready to use, with the Spalter 100 brush. Spread the product evenly over different areas of the surface, using alternating brush strokes.
• While the paint is still fresh, smooth the strokes with the Spalter 100, moving the brush vertically. Repeat this process several times to achieve the characteristic striped effect.
• Repeat the same operation several times to create the characteristic effect of the striping.
  • Pour a small quantity of Rust Green Rame on a support and impregnate the end of a sponge in the product. Stroke the surface by applying the product vertically.
  • Wait 6-12 hours for the complete drying.
    

    Corteza Effect

    • Apply one coat of Rust Verde Rame evenly over the entire surface using a short-haired roller.
    • Allow to dry for 6-12 hours.
    • Apply one coat of RUST PAINT using a roller.
    • Line the surface using the Frattonte Crome tool. The created lines will bring out the coat of Green Rame applied below.
    • Let dry 6-12 hours.
    • Pour a small quantity of Rust Verde Rame on a support and impregnate the end of a sponge into the product. Stroke the surface by applying the product vertically.
    • Allow to dry completely to appreciate the final effect.

    Patina Effect

    • Apply one coat of Structura Hi-Tech Metallico Rame Rossa using a roller evenly on the entire surface.
    • Allow to dry for 6-12 hours.
    • Apply Structura Hi-Tech Metallico Oro pouring a small quantity on a support and impregnate the special sponge (Spugna Mar Mediterraneo) into the product. Dab onto the surface distributing it evenly.
    • Repeat the same operation first with the product Rust Verde Rame and then with the product Rust Paint.
    • Let it dry completely to appreciate the final effect.
